Black Bay Park has a unique natural quality to it and provides visitors with an experience that immerses them in the natural environment of Post Falls. It is a place that is truly nature in the city. There
is a diverse range of natural environments within the park, from the pine bluffs to the water tower overlook to the beautiful Spokane River. All these different areas have distinct characteristics, but
also materiality that ties them together. The Black Bay Vision Plan strives to use the natural material of the site and fit new design elements to that aesthetic.
